The Need For Freedom

Slm everybody.

Was on my way, walking home from school when I accidentally saw an event which i might not forget.
I did not know how this simple event could make me realize 'something' that I always had but never to appreciate.

**While walking home, I saw a German Shepherd tied up by its neck to a tree with a dog lead. It was held against its will because it was trying to escape somehow by scratching and twisting its head. I knew that this dog was not meant to be tied up.
It was once a free dog, and I could have sworn I once saw it roam the streets.
But how unlucky has this dog been when on this particular day, someone had decided to tie him up.

And what made me realize even further was when this small kid came by, and without any hesitation, he threw some bread to this huge dog trying to feed it.
*(i think u guys can imagine how big a German Shepherd compared to a small kid aged from 5-6 y o rite?)

But the bread he threw did not reach the dog. Yes, the bread was near the dog, but the dog which was tied up by its neck, was not able to bend down and eat the bread.

And the little kid just picked up the bread, and with his bare hands, fed the dog.

Im guessing that the only thing the kid was thinking about was 'Love'..
Yep3, he loved the dog soo much that even if the dog was twice his size, it wont matter.
As long as the dog gets something to eat.

And as soon as the dog ate the bread, the lil kid ran back to his mum feeling very happy.
He smiled and laughed while saying something in Arabic which I dont understand. lol..

This made me feel the urge to ask the boy his name. I walked up straight to him and asked

"Ismak eh?"

And he answered:

"Sulaiman." with a smile on his face.

And i continued my journey home with something to ponder. =)

Moral :

:: Freedom ? Yup, u'd know u had it n felt the need to appreciate it once u've lost it.. =(
:: Love ? How can u say things about love when u dont even know what love is in the first place? =(
